What is Pediatric Thyroid Disorders?

The thyroid gland helps control a child's growth, metabolism and development. Thyroid disorders — including congenital hypothyroidism, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism — can affect growth and energy, and respond well to treatment when found early.
